The Makeup Artist Requalification Course is focused on gaining professional competence in the field of decorative cosmetics and makeup artistry at the level of the qualification standard. Participants will learn to assess and care for skin, provide makeup advice, shape eyebrows, perform daily and evening makeup, apply artificial lashes, and design makeup for modeling and photography. Emphasis is placed on adhering to hygiene standards when using cosmetic tools. The course includes both theoretical and practical verification of skills, including first aid, billing services, and ensuring the necessary materials for cosmetic treatments.
The Makeup Artist Requalification Course includes the following areas of professional competence:
Skin Assessment – Identifying and evaluating the client’s skin condition and recommending suitable care.
Providing Advice in Decorative Cosmetics and Makeup Artistry – Characterizing and using decorative cosmetics, face shaping, and choosing the appropriate makeup.
Performing Surface Cleansing of the Skin – The process of skin cleansing and removing eye makeup.
Evaluating Face Shapes and Designing Corrections for Aesthetic Deficiencies – Correcting face shapes, eyes, and lips using cosmetics.
Assessing and Shaping Eyebrows – Correcting the shape and length of the eyebrows.
Performing Daily and Evening Makeup – Performing daily and evening makeup with expert justification of the procedure.
Applying Artificial Lashes – Selecting tools, applying, and removing artificial lashes.
Designing and Performing Makeup for Modeling, Photography, and Competitive Makeup – Thematic makeup for various purposes (modeling, photography, competitions).
Adhering to Hygiene Standards When Using Cosmetic Tools and Equipment – Disinfection and sterilization of tools and equipment.
Ordering Skin Care Products and Equipment – Recordkeeping, storage, and selection of appropriate products.
Billing Services – Issuing receipts, billing for cosmetic product sales.
Providing First Aid to Clients – Basic first aid procedures for injuries.
Exam: The exam consists of practical and theoretical parts, including oral, written, and practical demonstrations of all skills, such as skin assessment, makeup, applying artificial lashes, and providing first aid. The assessment is based on meeting all the criteria for each skill.
