Entry Requirements for Applicants to the Cosmetologist Course (69-030-M):

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Education: Completion of basic education (at minimum)

  • Medical Fitness: Certificate from a general practitioner confirming medical fitness to perform the profession of cosmetologist

    Course Description:

    This accredited retraining course prepares participants to professionally perform a wide range of cosmetic procedures in accordance with the standards set by the Czech National Qualifications Framework. The curriculum includes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in facial cleansing, skin analysis, eyebrow and eyelash care, facial massage, make-up application, and the use of cosmetic devices approved for use in beauty salons.

    Certification and Final Examination:

    At the end of the course, students take a final professional qualification exam before an authorized examining board. Upon successful completion, graduates receive an officially recognized certificate of professional qualification for the occupation “Cosmetologist” (69-030-M), which entitles them to work independently or open their own beauty practice under Czech law.

    Course Schedule and Attendance:

    Classes are conducted in-person at our training center in Prague. The course takes place over several weeks in full-day sessions, typically from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Attendance is mandatory in order to meet the required 300 instructional hours. Practical training is emphasized, with students practicing on live models under the supervision of licensed professionals.

    Materials and Equipment:

    All learning materials, cosmetic products, tools, and equipment are provided by the academy. Students do not need to purchase any supplies separately. Our training facilities are fully equipped with modern devices, mirrors, lighting, and salon-quality stations to ensure a professional and comfortable learning environment.

    Funding Options:

    The course fee includes all materials, instruction, and the final examination. The total price is CZK 40,000. For eligible applicants, full reimbursement of the course fee is possible through the Czech Labour Office (Úřad práce). We assist interested students in preparing the necessary documentation for funding applications.
